Are you passionate about wanting to make a difference? Do you have an understanding of adverse childhood experiences and emotional regulation?
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic teaching assistant who is supportive of children’s individual needs and barriers to learning and will strive to support and overcome these effectively. As a one form entry school relationships are very important to us and we are looking for a teaching assistant who is a good team player, and can encourage children to interact with others and engage with activities.
Waterside Primary school is set in beautiful grounds and has its own forest school area. Experience with outdoor learning and child led learning would be beneficial but training will be provided.
The position is initially for a fixed term contract of two terms in year 2. You will be supported by the class teaching team and the Inclusion Lead.
The start date is as soon as possible after offer and relevant checks made.
