HISP Multi Academy Trust is a relatively new Multi Academy Trust (MAT) having just reached the end of our first year. Two schools, Portswood Primary and Tanners Brook Primary, joined Thornden Secondary in the HISP MAT on 1 July 2020 to form a geographically close Trust based in the southern part of Hampshire and Southampton, which we intend to grow as we move forward. Our three schools cover nursery to 16 and are reinforced by a strong supportive Central Multi Academy Trust (MAT) team.
Having applied for Teaching School Hub status in December 2020, we were invited in February 2021 to lead two of the 87 Hubs that have been allocated nationally. These will become centres of excellence for teacher and leadership training and development. Hubs will start their role in September, with significant planning taking place in the build-up to this.
To support our growing MAT and Teaching School Hubs, we would like to appoint an administrator as the first point of contact for all Teaching School Hub and HISP Learning Partnership enquiries. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of high-quality records, spreadsheets and databases as well as providing technical assistance to a wide variety of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will ideally have had experience of administration in a busy environment and will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will need to have excellent communication and prioritisation skills, be computer literate, and have exceptional organisational skills. An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the sensitivity of data will be crucial.
Now is an exciting time in our development and a positive time to be joining HISP MAT.
We are committed to providing equality of opportunity at all stages of the recruitment and selection process and ensuring that candidates are treated fairly and lawfully throughout the process.
If you wish to apply for this post, please review the full job description and person specification for this role, and then please complete our support staff application form. These documents can all be downloaded from our website at https://www.hispmat.org/.
Please email your completed application form to email@example.com.
Please note that CV’s will not be accepted. No agency applications either please.
The deadline for receipt of completed application forms is Friday 17th September 2021 at 12pm.
The HISP Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring checks along with other relevant employment checks.
