Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year) 8am start (Monday to Friday)
Location of Role: The Westgate School
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, welcoming and conscientious colleague to join our team with specific responsibilities for first aid, supporting pupils with medical conditions (such as epilepsy and diabetes) and to work as part of our wider administration team in promoting the strong attendance of children in our all-through school.
The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, solution focused and be enthusiastic about supporting parents, pupils and colleagues. Excellent interpersonal skills, a professional manner and adherence to confidentiality are essential skills for this role. A background in nursing or welfare roles would be advantageous though not essential.
The successful candidate will need to be able to manage a busy, reactive role demanding a high level of organisational skills without compromising on safeguarding and successful outcomes.
A working knowledge of SIMS and Medical Tracker would be advantageous – although not essential as training will be provided. As an all-through school, the role will include working in both our primary and second phases.
The Westgate has an on-site, full time day nursery (0-5 years) and Health & Fitness Suite available to staff.
