A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher, with responsibility for SEND provision and Inclusion across our federation.
Our federation has over 500 children across it and is set in a spacious, well-equipped building, on an expansive and beautiful site in Leigh Park. All that we do is underpinned by our values of: ‘Community, Opportunity and Achievement’, encapsulated in the following motto: ‘Standing together with our community to unlock opportunity and secure achievement for all’.
Both schools within the federation are rapidly improving, right at the hub of serving our community and working to be recognised as schools of excellence. Our schools serve an area of socio-economic deprivation and deep rooted challenges. Approximately 60% of our children are eligible for pupil premium and approximately 35% are currently on the SEND register, with a higher than average proportion of EHCPs too.
We are looking for an exceptional primary practitioner, highly skilled, knowledgeable and driven, committed to a culture of high quality and inclusive provision. This is a non-class based leadership role, giving the opportunity to be an integral part of our federation leadership team and improvement drive. Developing the provision for SEND children, and meeting their needs, at Riders is high within our school improvement priorities.
