Hours of Work: Wednesdays - Thursdays 8:30 am – 3:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day), term-time only

COVE JUNIOR SCHOOL IS 'AIMING HIGH' - ARE YOU?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy and supportive admin team, as an admin assistant. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for parents/visitors to the school and will need to be confident about running the reception on their own. You will need to be able to communicate effectively in a warm and professional manner at all times. We’re looking for someone who is flexible, highly organised and able to deal with a variety of administrative tasks including producing correspondence and dealing with telephone queries.
Pupil welfare and safeguarding, including the provision of first aid, is an important part of this role and the successful candidates will be able to relate well to children and be passionate about working in a school.
We are looking for someone who is:
Experience of working in a school office environment is desirable however not essential, as training will be provided on school specific procedures.
