Glenwood School is a Local Authority Special School within the boundary of Hampshire County Council. It provides a secondary education for pupils with an Education Health Care Plan for Special Educational Needs which fall within the moderate learning difficulties range. This includes pupils with Speech and Language difficulties, social communication difficulties and autism.

We have a vacancy for a new classroom-based role supporting pupils individually or in groups across the curriculum together with some playground supervision duties.
The role offers an induction programme along with training in a wide range of areas including Special Needs and Safeguarding issues. It also offers the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment as part of a supportive team.
The role starts as soon as possible and is fixed-term until 31st July 2022.
