Job/Person Summary

Wellington Community Primary School & Marlborough Infant School are now joined in a new exciting formal federation to continue to provide high quality level education within the Aldershot area.

Wellington Community Primary is a popular modern two-form entry school OFSTED assessed as “Outstanding” and providing a service to the local community every day of the week.

Marlborough Infants is a small traditional single form entry school OFSTED assessed as “Good” with “Outstanding” features which has provided education to the nearby, mainly military families, since 1897.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently an inspirational head or deputy head teacher
• Has a proven track record of raising and maintaining standards
• Can provide strong visionary leadership
• Has high expectations for the achievements of every child
• Will challenge, enthuse, and develop all members of staff
• Is passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives
• Has excellent interpersonal skills
• Is resilient, adaptable, and able to deal with complexity and challenge
• Will build on and develop the established relationship, particularly with parents, within our diverse community

Key priorities:-

Define and implement an ambitious post COVID 19 vision for closing any education gaps resulting from the pandemic period.

Develop the shared vision for pedagogy and curriculum across both schools while retaining each school’s unique characteristics so that both schools continue to flourish.

Continue to develop leadership at all levels across the federation.
