Salary Details: Salary will be based on a combination of the unqualified teacher scale and the learning support grade C scale, depending on the agreed split of responsibilities.
Hours of Work: Approximately 35 hours per week term time only
Location of Role: Andover
We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic person to be part of both our Performing Arts and Learning Support Teams. The successful applicant will support the performing arts during curriculum time and run extra-curricular sessions, with a focus on dance. There will also be hours allocated to supporting in other areas of the school.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to students of all abilities and ages and also to contribute towards the wider life of the school. This is a teaching and learning role and the ideal candidate should demonstrate patience, humour and a passion for working with and assisting young people to learn. There are good opportunities for career progression if desired and is an excellent role for those considering a future career in the teaching profession.
