We are looking to appoint a KS1 class teacher who has good or out standing teaching experience across the whole primary phase-with specific experience in Years R-2 who is now looking for their next step to lead a year team of three classes in year 1 or 2.
We are also looking to appoint a KS2 class teacher who has good or outstanding teaching experience across the whole primary phase-with specific experience in Years 3-6, who is now looking for their next step to lead a year team of three classes in Year 3-6.
As a year leader we would love to support you in developing your knowledge and skills to ensure you are leading with impact, working in partnership as well as managing resources and risks-in order to drive and improve standards across the year group.

We would support you in your leadership role to develop professionally with coaching as well as offer you some release time in order to carry out your leadership responsibilities. The role of Year lead carries additional responsibility as well as being an excellent class teacher and as such includes expectations for you to attend Governors and SLT meetings regularly. It holds a TLR 3 £1000 payment and an additional job description to that of a class teacher.
