We are a larger than average primary school with an above average number of children with SEND. Our friendly and rapidly improving primary school is a thriving community where staff are passionate about providing an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all pupils whatever their ability.
The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint an excellent practitioner ready to inspire to aspire and support the leadership team effectively in managing high quality provision for children with SEND, raising standards and enabling all pupils to achieve good outcomes.
We wish to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified/experienced teacher to join us to become our SENDCo. The successful candidate will be able to encourage, innovate, inspire and have the personal qualities and skills necessary to enable all children with SEND to thrive.
This non-class based post will involve working directly with individual children with SEND and their families as well as their class teachers in school. The post will also involve the management of annual reviews, liaising with outside agencies and general administration of SEND.
