The Hamble School is a good school with a clear direction on how we want to improve. We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic qualified teacher to join our innovative and dynamic English Department. The successful candidate will join an established and successful group of teachers and supportive staff, who deliver an engaging and aspirational curriculum to our students. Our dedicated team work collaboratively together to drive up standards of achievement, with consistently strong results that are above National averages. Our department is very well-resourced and has an HLTA, dedicated to small group intervention and one-to-one tutoring of our disadvantaged and more vulnerable students.
As a Teacher of English you have a good subject knowledge and will be expected to plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students, allowing them to make excellent progress. You will be responsible for the assessment and monitoring of student progress and will have high expectations of the behaviour and conduct of students at our school.
