As a core subject the Science department is responsible for the delivery of the Science curriculum throughout all years that the students are with us at the school. Offering both Combined Trilogy and Separate Science our exam results have improved year on year with the following headlines:
As a team we are dedicated to inspiring our young people, motivating them to see the real-life importance of Science. We work closely with ExxonMobil and University Hospital Southampton to deliver engaging talks and programmes as well as offering trips and visits to Science related industries.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Science, who is passionate about improving student outcomes and can employ a wide range of dynamic strategies to inspire students to learn about Science. The successful candidate will collaborate on curriculum development, have high expectations of students and embrace the ethos of the department and the school as a whole.
