Job/Person Summary

Governors at Langrish Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding primary teacher who will make a significant contribution to our creative school community. Required from September 2021, the successful applicant will complement the dedicated team of professionals who provide a welcoming yet stimulating learning experience for all the children at Langrish.

Langrish Primary School is a popular, one form entry primary school set in the beautiful South Downs. The school is proud of its academic excellence throughout the primary age range but it also boasts awards for sports and creative arts, which demonstrate a commitment to the broad and balanced curriculum shared at the school.

The successful candidate will:

Have high expectations and a commitment to securing outstanding progress for all learners across all subjects;
possess excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents;
be effective at leading, inspiring and supporting other members of staff;
be flexible, adaptable and resilient, able to organise workload efficiently and competently yet still willing to contribute to the wider life of the school;
ideally be interested in leading an area of the curriculum such as PSHE, RSE and Right's Respecting Schools
