HEAD OF INFANT SCHOOL
To Start September or sooner
The Federation of Riders Infant and Junior Schools is looking to appoint a permanent Head of Infant School from September or sooner.
Our federation of schools are set in spacious buildings and grounds, giving broad flexibility to our creative ideas for providing the best opportunities for our children. We are on an exciting and challenging journey of school improvement, which will see our schools become securely ‘Good’ schools in meeting the needs of our children and community, on a journey in pursuit of excellence.
We are a large federation and have over 500 children on roll across both schools. Our staff work seamlessly together, as if we were a ‘primary’, to maximise capacity of improvement and a real consistency in what we provide as our children transition throughout the key stages.
Although we have a long way to go with our school improvement journey, we have high aspirations and expectations, aiming now to really realise our values and motto:
Community, Opportunity, Achievement – ‘Standing together with our community to unlock opportunity and secure achievement for all.’
We are seeking an inspirational, exceptional, highly driven teacher and leader to join our team and community. Our children absolutely deserve the best opportunities, which will lead to them achieving great outcomes in everything that they do.
We can offer you:
Thank you for your interest in this post and please do have a look through our school website and the information available about our federation.
If you would like any additional information, or a discussion about the post, please contact us and our Executive Head Teacher, David England, will be happy to speak with you.
Visits are encouraged to fully appreciate our federation and all that role has to offer. Visits can be arranged by contacting us, or can be carried out virtually.
Please return all applications to email@example.com via email by noon on 5 February 2021.
Riders Infant School and Hampshire County Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
