Job/Person Summary

Pennington C of E Junior School is seeking to appoint an experienced, inspirational, passionate and committed part time temporary class teacher to join our team. 

The successful candidate will: 

Have outstanding or good classroom practice

Be an inspirational teacher who is able to motivate all children to succeed

Have high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attitudes towards learning

Be able to plan and deliver an innovative, skills based curriculum to inspire and motivate children

Be able to create a stimulating environment that motivates learners

Be a reflective teacher who aspires for excellence in themselves and others

Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in partnership with their job share all members of the school community – a real team player

Encourage children to show initiative, take risks with their learning and challenge themselves

Be resilient with a good sense of humour

Have a determination that all children will succeed, regardless of starting points or backgrounds

Be positive and caring putting pupil’s learning and development at the heart of everything they do
