Salary Details: Salary range £18,426 - £19,407 pa pro-rata / Actual £4,260 to £4,546 per annum pro rata
Hours of Work: Part Time 10 hours per week / Term time only (39 weeks) / Fixed Term until 23 July 2021

We are seeking to appoint an Administrator for Health & Safety who has an interest in or experience with Health and Safety (H&S) to undertake the following responsibilities:
Maintain the school’s H&S bring up diary which includes the following:
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Training via Gemma Holmes (HR Officer)
Ensure that all areas of health and safety are in date and completed to legal requirements
To provide admin support to the Site Manager and team by booking essential contractors for site works and statutory checks as needed and required and notifying the SBM of the dates of the works.
To oversee the co-ordination of all staff H&S annual updates and induction documentation to ensure all colleagues are up to date with their qualifications and training.
To ensure robust record keeping systems are in place for all documentation and accessible by the Headteachers, School Business Manager and Site Manager.
To prepare documentation for the annual H&S external audit ensuring all documentation is accessible.
Respond to general H&S queries.
Maintain an up to date awareness of H&S policies and procedures and apply them throughout the school area.
Promote high standards of H&S and risk assessment practice in school.
To undertake appropriate and relevant training as required for the role.
The successful person must be organised, able to work to a timetable and keep clear and accurate
records. We would be willing to be flexible regarding the working hours and days as long as they were Monday – Friday and within school hours.
