Hours of Work: Full-time (37 hours per week), 52 weeks per year, shift pattern

Job/Person Summary

Oasis Academy Sholing wishes to appoint a Site Assistant to support the Principal, staff and our students as we ‘strive for excellence’. Working with the Site Manager you will ensure the security, cleanliness and general maintenance of the site.

As part of a team you would ensure that all areas of the site are maintained to recognised standards and that the premises and grounds are a safe environment. You will carry out a range of health and safety checks on equipment and utilities and will report any defects you find. You will
arrange emergency repairs where necessary.

As well as some cleaning duties you will prepare areas for school functions such as open evenings, moving and setting up equipment as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for site security as part of a team and it would be an advantage to have experience of working with young people.
