This is a fantastic opportunity to join the highly supportive community that is St Mary's Junior School. We welcome applications from coaches with experience of teaching PE/Sports in a school setting.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated individual to join our hardworking and friendly team, starting September 2020. This post will include: working alongside teachers to deliver the PE curriculum, organisation of both internal and inter-school sports as well as some work in the classroom with small groups and individuals, including provision of Occupational Therapy programmes.
Please note that the post will also include daily lunchtime duties with a particular focus on encouraging active play. If you enjoy using your initiative, have good organisational skills and relevant experience, then please apply.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
*Has a wide experience of coaching in a number of different sports
*Puts the needs of the children first
*Is committed to ensure that every child reaches their highest possible level of achievement
*Will be able to use their own initiative
*Has the patience and imagination to help all children to enjoy being active
*Has a positive outlook and a good sense of humour
*A relevant coaching qualification
