We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our learning support assistant team. You will be expected to work closely with our teachers to develop the learning for all pupils – in our school learning support assistants work with pupils of all abilities. However, our current vacancies will require a high level of 1-2-1 support for specific pupils, often those with EHCPs or a similar level of need.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to be flexible to meet the needs of the school. You will be led and managed by our Assistant Heads and you will receive a package of support and training to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding.
We are committed to safeguarding and have a rigorous recruitment process. As part of your assessment day you will work in the classroom to support pupils, undertake a written task and a maths task and other learning activities to allow you to demonstrate your skills - attached is an example of the day for your information.
Tours of the school are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact email@example.com to arrange a tour.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 28th November 2019. Please note this may be an all-day process.
Please note CVs will not be accepted unless supported with a completed application form.
