Job/Person Summary

37 hours per week – term time only (40 weeks).

8.00 am - 4.00 pm (Monday-Thursday) and 8.00am -3.30pm (Friday)

Salary: - HCC Grade B FTE £18,065 - £18,371, Actual £15,848.64 - £16,117.08


We are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant as soon as possible to join our friendly and professional team.  The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to our teacher training programme, the Rural Schools Alliance (RSA) and assist the Admin team as required.


The successful candidate should have: 

Excellent interpersonal skills – an excellent communicator

Excellent literacy skills – ability to proof read with an eye for detail

Technical skills – keyboard, word processing, photocopiers

Experience of administration office working and processes

Experience in use of IT software (Microsoft Office)

Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines without supervision

Excellent organisational skills

Approachable and patient

Confident in dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries
