Salary Details: Students completing the Primary or Secondary SCITT programme must pay the £9,000 tuition fee. Students completing the School Direct (salaried) programme will be paid as an unqualified teacher.

For 2020/21 our tuition fees will be £9,000 for non-salaried trainees. Applicants may be eligible for a bursary or scholarship. This depends on degree classification and chosen training subject.

School Direct (salaried): These vacancies are listed on the DfE search tool under the provider code 1R1. Trainees on the salaried programme are paid as an unqualified teacher.
We also offer The Assessment Only route giving graduates who are experienced classroom practitioners the chance to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 12 weeks.

Applicants with non-UK secondary school qualifications will be required to demonstrate equivalence with UK GCSE standards through NARIC.
Successful applicants will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and complete and return the SCITT's Health Declaration form.
