We passionately believe that all children, whatever their individual circumstances, should feel secure, included, valued and challenged in all aspects of school life by being at the centre of every action and decision we make. We strive to enable our children to leave Oakfield as skilled and well-rounded individuals, successfully prepared to take on the challenge of secondary school and adulthood.
If you answered yes to the above, then we need you!
We are looking to employ a part-time assistant teacher to work alongside our teachers to support the learning of children across the school. This role is a varied role that isn’t class based but is instrumental in supporting the development of our amazing children. There is the potential that more hours may become available working in our breakfast and after school club, if this is of interest to you then please indicate this on your application form.
Oakfield primary school became part of Gateway Multi Academy Trust in April 2019 and has seen a huge amount of positive changes, with many more still to come. We have refurbished classrooms, outdoor equipment and many brand new resources in school to support education.
For more information about our school, ethos and values please visit the website or Facebook page where you will get a ‘feel’ for life with us. It is important to the children that we find the right person for the role, therefore visits to our school are warmly welcomed.
Please contact the school office on 02380 256830 to make an appointment and see our fantastic school in action!
