We have a vacancy for a Receptionist and Administrator for 21.75 hours per week, term time only, working Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:45 am to 5:00 pm. This post is for a fixed term, pending review, from 6th January 2020 to 31st March 2021.
Our pupils are aged 2 – 19 years with learning, communication and complex health needs ranging from severe to profound and multiple. A passion to work in our environment is essential.
Ideally, you will be an experienced administrator and receptionist and have experience of working in a school environment although the latter is not essential. A knowledge of school based systems e.g. SIMS, IBC is desirable although training will be available. You must however be very IT literate, organised, tolerant of interruptions and a multi tasker.
The post will involve administrative work ranging from typing EHCPs, newsletters and reports to a variety of personnel and recruitment processes. We promise no two days will be the same!
The salary range is Scale B step 1 to Scale C step 5 depending on qualifications and experience. Actual salary ranges from £9,111. to £9,788.
