We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, talented, caring and experienced Early Years Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team at Sherborne St John CE Primary School. We are a small village primary school with fantastic children, staff and governors. The school has been consistently rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted and everyone works closely together to support our children and create a happy, secure and successful learning environment. The role will involve working with children within the classroom setting and supervising children during the lunch hour (2 days per week). You will work under the guidance and planning of the Class Teacher and support and enhance the children's learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs. Our Learning Support Assistants work in close partnership with class teachers to enhance learning opportunities for all children and you will be required to provide accurate records and daily feedback. As an LSA3/HTLA you will be expected to cover the class under the direction of the teacher.
