Location of Role: Sweetpeas at Parsonage Farm Nursery and Infant School
Sweetpeas, based at Parsonage Farm Nursery and Infant School in Farnborough, is run as a Committee managed Group, with the Headteacher being the Chairperson. It is Ofsted registered separately and not under the School. It has an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Sweetpeas is looking for a Manager to run its successful and very busy breakfast, after school and holiday child care club from January 2020. The current post holder is leaving due to family circumstances.
The club is open from 7.50 – 9.00am, 2.45 – 5.30pm Monday to Friday during term time and 8.00am – 5.30pm during most school holidays (Monday to Thursday).
The Manager will be required to work the above hours and will be given additional time for planning and administration, giving a total of 30hours per week (20 hours session time + 10 hours administration). The Manager will also need to take on the administration of invoicing, staff wages, policies etc – training provided.
The hourly rate is £9.50 - £10.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
Duties include planning and providing safe and creative play opportunities for children aged 3 – 8, planning and providing nutritious breakfast/snack, day to day management, day to day administration, safeguarding, health and safety, staff management, invoicing and management of finances.
Applicants should have experience of working with children of primary school age, have an appropriate qualification at Level 3 or above (Child care, play work), and a Pediatric First Aid certificate.
Applicants should also be patient, cheerful and enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to use their initiative and understand the importance of confidentiality.
