Provide vital support to our schools across Hampshire
We are looking for dynamic, flexible individuals with great organisation skills and proven administrative experience to support our school governing bodies. You will play a vital role, supporting our governors to provide Hampshire’s schools with the leadership and guidance they need. You will oversee the organisation of meetings, record accurate minutes, and advise on changes in legislation, policy and governance issues.
A motivated self-starter, you will be able to work under your own initiative, manage deadlines, and keep accurate records. The ability to remain impartial, comply with data protection legislation and maintain confidentiality is essential. As part of this role, you are required to undertake the clerks’ development programme as well as the 'accredited clerk qualification'.
Hours are paid to clerks as annualised hours – this means that contracted hours are paid as equal monthly payments. Further information is available on our Governor Services website.
