We are seeking an additional member of support staff to join our caring, conscientious and enthusiastic team. The position will involve supporting the learning in one of our Year 4 classes in the morning and providing additional intervention sessions across Year 4 over the 2 afternoons. As a school we can offer you a fantastic team to work alongside, professional development opportunities and most importantly, amazing children.
The successful candidate will be someone who believes in supporting children to be the best that they can be.
Our ideal candidate will have a NVQ3 and a proven track record of supporting the learning and well-being of children to a high standard. A sense of humour, patience and initiative is a must.

The successful candidate will:
Have good written and oral communication skills, with clear and accurate enunciation
Have a positive outlook and will contribute to the positive ethos of the school
Have enthusiasm for working with children and developing their learning
Have previous recent experience of working with children in Year lower KS2
Be organised, efficient and professional in their approach
Be caring, understanding and patient
Have good behaviour management skills
Be a good team player
Have understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
Have experience of and be prepared to provide PPA cover (salary uplift available)
