Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for an experienced Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser.
Hampshire Careers and Employability Service, part of Hampshire Futures, is a successful sold service of Hampshire County Council. Our service provides careers advice and guidance, as well as tracking participation of post 16 and NEET young people. We also offer work experience, employer engagement and enterprise activities. The service prides itself on delivering bespoke services to schools and colleges across the county.
In this role, you will effectively manage a school or college caseload and carry out a variety of careers related tasks. This will include delivering careers education, information, advice and guidance interviews and group sessions to young people in a variety of settings.
The successful applicant will be committed to successful outcomes for young people and able to work creatively to respond to the needs of individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. To support this work, you will also engage with parents/carers and other professionals.
It is ESSENTIAL that you hold a minimum Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification with experience of delivering careers guidance in a school or college. You may be expected to support activities across a variety of locations across Hampshire to fulfil the requirements of the service.
