Stanmore Primary School in Winchester is looking for an Assistant Headteacher. As a school, we are committed to purposeful and irresistible learning where our children are inspired to thrive and everyone is the BEST that they can be.
We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who can lead a team of people and is able to evidence their impact. Our improvement journey is rapid. If you are motivated by challenge and are able to take something, run with it and complete it, then you could be the person that we are looking for. Our assistant headteacher must have a proven track record of effectively managing the aspirations and needs of a school community.
Of course, you will demand ambitious standards for all pupils in overcoming disadvantage. You will want to instil a strong sense of accountability in staff for the impact of their work on raising pupils' outcomes and, as our assistant headteacher, you will have a part-time teaching commitment.
