Hours of Work: 0830 - 1430 Mon - Fri (Term Time Only) Plus two days in August (for Exam Results)
Location of Role: Andover
We are a small school with approximately 48 students in key stages 3 and 4 (Year 7 to Year 11). We are looking for an Administration and Examinations Officer who can work independently and as part of a team with excellent organisation and communication skills.
You will need to be a confident user of IT including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook and have a good standard of education to include Maths and English at GCSE level/grade, C/4 minimum. Experience of using SIMS (Schools Information Management System) or a similar package would be an advantage.
As the first point of contact for everyone attending or telephoning the school you will need to be an excellent communicator, with high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
Duties will include the responsibility for the school's Health & Safety procedures and policies, accurately maintaining school records and data, liaising with staff, students, parents and outside agencies.
We want the very best for our students and enter them for a range of GCSE and other examinations and the role encompasses the responsibility to administer the examinations this includes ensuring students are entered for the appropriate exams, providing examining boards with the estimated entries and completing exam entries using appropriate software.
