We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our positive, caring, friendly and supportive team of teachers and support staff working Monday – Friday 8.45 till 12pm.
The successful candidate will support children across the Juniors with in-class support predominately during Maths and English lessons and some small group / 1-1 intervention work.
This contract will be on a temporary basis, until 31.8.20
Salary will be negotiated subject to relevant experience B or C grade
You will be supporting the children in class or groups of children to provide intervention as directed.
You will be required to provide accurate records and daily feedback to the teachers.
An understanding of Key Stage One and / or Key Stage Two curriculum would be desirable.
You will need good written and oral communication skills and the ability to use your initiative to work self-directed or as part of a team to enable pupils to succeed.

Applicants must have:
Previous proven experience of working with primary aged children
C grade at GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
The ability to provide evidence of the impact they have had on pupils they have worked with.
The ability to work under pressure with good time management skills.
A flexible, calm and professional approach.
An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
