The Federation of Trosnant Schools is looking to appoint an HLTA or LSA3 (with the opportunity to work towards HLTA status).
The role is to join our Federation, working in our Junior School in the first instance. The post is suitable for an experienced Learning Support Assistant, with experience of working with children, who would like to widen their experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an effective team and to work in close partnership with an experienced teacher.
The successful candidate will support learning and behaviour for groups and individual children under the direction of the teacher.
Our Learning Support Assistants are led by our full time Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion), who ensures that staff have access to a programme of continuous professional development. For the right candidate, if not yet an accredited HLTA, we will offer the opportunity to gain this status through the Hampshire programme. Our Schools are training schools for School Direct Students through The Solent Teaching School Alliance and many previous staff have gone on to pursue a career in teaching.
The position is to start as soon as possible and by 4th November at the latest.
For further details, to arrange a visit to the school, or to request an application pack, please contact Cher Jeffery our Senior Admin Officer on 02392 475606 or email@example.com
During the summer holiday period the application form and information pack will be available from our website www.trosnantschools.co.uk
Federation of Trosnant Schools and Hampshire County Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
