Located in a semi-rural setting, a stone’s throw from the Sea, Meoncross School and Nursery provides Independent Education for boys and girls aged 2.5 to 16 years.
We currently have exciting opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our passionate and committed team.
We are looking for individuals to work as part of our excellent team and contribute to the pupil’s development including their physical and mental well-being in supporting the teaching and learning in the class room, providing general and specific assistance to pupils, under the direction and guidance of the Class teacher. This will involve providing assistance to the Class teacher in supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis, across a wide range of activities and supported learning activities, including the preparation and maintenance of resources. Flexibility is key to the role as well as being a team player.
In order to be successful in this role, it is desirable that you will have a Level 3 qualification in Learning Support but not essential. However, it is a requirement to have GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics and English Language or equivalent qualification or skill level. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children that encourages and enables child development. A happy and cheerful disposition as well as a sense of humour is essential.
