This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join Endeavour Primary school at an exciting time, as we 'stand-alone' as a new, growing Primary school, in the heart of the Augusta Park Development.
We are a friendly and welcoming school and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and caring member of the pupil support staff team to join this friendly and supportive community. We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach to working across both key stages and school campuses.
You are strongly encouraged to visit us and view the school during the working day in order to appreciate fully the potential that we have to offer.
We are looking to appoint a person who is committed to supporting and developing children’s emotional well-being. The role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant or would also suit a person who has ELSA training, or is willing to embark on ELSA training as part of their continued professional development.
We are currently looking for a dual role of Learning Support Assistant in the mornings and ELSA in the afternoon but as the school grows, the ELSA role is likely to become full time.
We are looking for a colleague who:
Is warm, caring and calm when working with children.
Works with optimism and enthusiasm to remove barriers to children’s success.
Has a positive outlook to motivate children of all abilities to make good progress.
Consistently promotes children’s independent learning.
Works creatively and with resilience so that all pupils can achieve their full personal potential.
Is positive and compassionate when working on children’s welfare and pastoral needs.
Is self-motivated in putting pupil’s learning and development at the heart of everything they do.
Leads by example and communicates well with children and colleagues.
We can offer:
The opportunity to work in a school that is inclusive and child centred.
A friendly school which works closely with our pupils’ families and our local community.
Happy, well behaved pupils who are very well engaged with their learning.
Welcoming and kind children who enjoy coming to school every day.
Excellent professional support from our Pastoral Team which is growing in the school.
We warmly welcome and encourage visits to our school. Pop in and see us in 'full flow'.
