Job/Person Summary

Do you want to play a supporting role in helping children in Hampshire?

Working as part of a small team, you will provide a comprehensive Paediatric Continence Adviser support service for Hampshire County Council's Children's Services. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, you will be practising in one of the top two performing children’s social care authorities in the country.

You will have experience of supporting and advising children, and their families, with continence issues, and have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. You will understand the need for flexibility and the importance of confidentiality. Additionally, you will be highly organised with excellent communication skills, and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience of working with staff in schools supporting pupils with continence issues is desirable.  

Working within the Specialist Teacher Advisory Service for Physical Disabilities you will cover an extensive area of Hampshire, therefore please note you must be able to meet the travel requirements of the role. Generally, this means that you will require a full driving licence and access to a car, but reasonable adjustments to this requirement will be considered to cater for a declared disability.
