Salary Details: From £21,769 - £23,836 pa pro rata, depending upon experience
Hours of Work: 25 hours per week term time only
Location of Role: Kanes Hill Primary
We are looking for two experienced teaching assistants to work one to one with pupils across the primary phase, starting September 2019. It is desirable that you will have experience of working with pupils with a range of needs, including Autism and behavioural needs, and can demonstrate success in supporting individual pupils with specific language and communication needs.
Level 2 NVQ in Maths and English is essential.
The school liaises closely with Southampton Advisory Outreach Service and a range of other agencies to provide advice and resources to effectively support individual pupils. We have a strong ethos of inclusivity and working together as part of a team.

The post is fixed term to August 2020, with a potential for extending further dependent upon the needs of the children and school vacancies. Informal enquiries and visits to the school are strongly encouraged.
