We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work with children either in YR or Y1 from September.
We have some children with Education, Health and Care Plans who need 1:1 support, and we also use LSAs to deliver interventions to individuals and small groups of children. The specific role requirements are dependent on the needs of children joining us in September. Although the post is temporary in the first instance it could well become permanent.
Ideally you will have experience of working with young children, in particular those who have speech and language needs, however personality, aptitude and a passion for working with children are just as important as qualifications.
We can offer you
- delightful children who are keen to learn
- a welcoming, supportive and experienced team of teachers and support staff
- excellent professional development opportunities
- an attractive environment in which to work
- an opportunity for a graduate with a long-term view to teacher training
Please contact the Headteacher, Mrs Liz Mathias, on 01252 324300 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further information and an application pack or to arrange a visit to the school.
