We are looking for excellent, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistants and 1 to 1 support for pupils’ to join our dedicated and expanding team.
St Mary’s is a diverse, inclusive and multi-cultural school that recently has been Ofsted rated as ‘Good’. Our friendly and supportive team are committed to creating an inclusive environment for our pupils and continuously raising standards across the school.
The successful candidates must be able to work closely with the class teacher to support English and Maths both in and out of class. Experience of working across a school setting is desirable but not essential. The post also includes a lunchtime supervision duty.
You will need:
· A good English and Maths skillset (GCSE grade C or above)
· To be able to adapt learning to meet the need of the pupils
· To be able to communicate effectively with the class teacher
· Excellent behaviour management skills
· Ability to engage and build relationships with pupils and adults
· To be able to work as part of a team
· An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
