Eling Infant school is now looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and caring Teaching Assistant to join our hard working and friendly staff team. You will be required to work flexibly in a Year R class. Work will also involve SEN support, therefore experience of children with SEN would be an advantage. This post is also to cover lunchtimes at school working as a supervisory assistant with our lunchtime team. It is fixed term vacancy initially until 31st July 2020.
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient and is able to support children in their learning. You will be hardworking, able to use a lot of initiative and to work independently as well as working in ‘team’ situations.
Previous experience of working with young children in a school setting is essential. You will have evidence of ongoing professional development, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
You will need to possess good literacy and numeracy skills. Some experience in running interventions groups or a willingness to learn this is essential.
The children say they would like someone to help them who they can have fun with!
