Our recently graded OUTSTANDING nursery (May 2023) has a new vacancy for a Special Educational Needs Assistant to provide high quality care and learning for children with special educational needs and disabilities at Haven. As an Early Years SEND Hub for Hampshire our exceptional practice and high-quality training make us a unique and exciting place to work.
We are seeking a team player who wants further develop their excellent SEND early years practice. Fantastic opportunities for professional development and training available, including speech and language, Makaton, THOMAS training and Attention Autism… to name of few!! We are a large nursery team who are dedicated in supporting all young children to grow.
Our staff benefit from 24 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays (based on full time), increasing after the 5th year of service. This is a fixed term role until 22 July 2025, 20 hours per week, term time only.
Working hours would be 9am – 1pm, Monday – Friday
(We can offer flexibility for the right candidate of working hours 9:30am – 1pm, Monday – Friday)
Salary of £10,660.00 (actual salary based on 20 hours -- Hampshire County Council Grade B3).
