Court Moor School is a successful, mixed 11–16 years comprehensive school with a high achieving, caring ethos and supportive staff.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work at the heart of the school in the Admin Office. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, friendly Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. Working as part of our ‘front of house’ team, you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, staff and students. You will also undertake administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the Admin Office.
This is a very busy and varied role requiring excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels. You will also be part of the first aid team administering first aid, including medications, to students, staff and visitors as necessary - training will be provided.
Applicants must demonstrate a professional approach and have a positive and friendly telephone manner. You must be able to work calmly under pressure and be able to multi-task; a hands-on approach and the ability to prioritise your workload are key. Good IT skills, together with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes is vital and knowledge of the management information system SIMS would be an advantage.
The role is part-time (14 hours) over two days (Thursday and Friday) working between 8am and 4pm (hours to be confirmed) with a daily 20-minute unpaid break, term time plus one week pro rata, ie 2 days. Opportunity for flexible working.
