We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1, supporting the teacher with whole class learning and involving some 1:1 SEND support.
We are excited to be in a position to add to our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have high expectations of children’s academic, personal, social and emotional development. Experience across the primary age would be desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will also be skilled in supporting the class teacher to create a calm and purposeful learning environment and have excellent interpersonal skills to support our relationship approach to learning. Above all applicants must believe that with determination, compassion and energy they can make a difference to the children and their families, raise aspirations and ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils. The role will involve some 1:1 SEND support, under the direction of the class teacher and school Inclusion Lead.
