Job/Person Summary

We are looking to appoint a highly effective and knowledgeable practitioner who is looking to gain accreditation as a SENCo or is already a qualified SENCo. The successful candidate will have 3 days teaching responsibility with 2 days SENCo.

You will have a proven track record of excellence in teaching and be highly effective in adaptation of the curriculum to meet individual pupil’s needs.

As SENCo you will demonstrate:

As SENCo you will have the strategic overview of the academic outcomes and emotional development of learners with SEND.  You will be responsible for raising educational achievement by leading and coordinating provision for pupils with special educational needs and will develop and oversee the implementation of the school’s SEND strategy and policy.

You will contribute to the ongoing success of the school and deepen understanding of excellence in inclusive practice.

You will be expected to keep up to date with national and local policies related to SEND.
