Salary Details: Grade B. Actual salary (pro-rated to reflect part time hours and term time only position) approximately £14,400
Hours of Work: Monday 8:30 am – 1:30 pm, Tuesday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am – 4:45 pm, Thursday 8:30 – 4:00, term-time only, with 30 minutes unpaid break Tuesday – Thursday. Can be some flexibility around hours. Potential for job share mornings and afternoons.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive admin team as an Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for parents/visitors to the school and will need to be confident about running the reception on their own. You will need to be able to communicate effectively in a warm and professional manner at all times. We’re looking for someone who is flexible, highly organised and able to deal with a variety of administrative tasks including producing correspondence and dealing with telephone queries.
Pupil welfare, confidentiality and safeguarding, including the provision of first aid, are important aspects of the role. The successful candidate will be able to relate well to children and be passionate about working in a school.

Experience of working in a school office environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
